Abdul-Jabbar in the White House: meets Mutombo, takes selfie with Obama – PHOTO


Legendary NBA center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar may not be active as a player anymore, but he sure is hyper active in the media and on social networks.

Abdul-Jabbar is no stranger to the “selfie culture”, as he just a few hours ago took probably the best selfie ever – with U.S. President Barack Obama! Seems like a fun evening for Kareem at the White House!

Kareem himself described it as the “best selfie he ever took”. Check it out below, as Kareem shared the photo on his Facebook page:

Kareem also shared a couple of other photos, one of which was posing for a photo with another NBA great, Dikembe Mutombo.

Abdul-Jabbar was  a record 19-time NBA All-Star, a 15-time All-NBA selection, and an 11-time NBA All-Defensive Team member.

In 1996, he was honored as one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History. Abdul-Jabbar played 1560 games in the NBA, averaging 24.6 ppg, 11.2 rpg in 36.8 mpg.
