Former NBA star Antawn Jamison held a basketball clinic in mid-July in his university of North Carolina, the AthletePromotions reported.
Jamison’s “All-Star Basketball Camp” took place at The Dean Smith Center and invited children between the ages of 7 through 18 to sign up for the event, which cost a total of $250 per camper.
About 130 boys and girls were able to work on their ball handling skills.
Jamison also provided scholarships for 100 of the kids to attend, as the rest of the money that was put into it was dedicated just to cover the cost of hosting the camp.
A 2-time NBA All-Star, Jamison played 16 seasons in the NBA for Golden State Warriors, Dallas Mavericks, Washington Wizards, Cleveland Cavaliers, LA Lakers and LA Clippers.
Jamison averaged over 20 points per game 5 times over his career, and holds career averages of 18.5 ppg, 7.5 rpg in 34.8 mpg. He played in total 1083 NBA regular season games, starting in 864.Follow @exnbadotcom
