Baron Davis attempting to make NBA comeback?


baron-davis-comebackBaron Davis is trying to make a return to the NBA, and rumor has it, he’ll do it in his hometown.

Marc Stein of ESPN.com has said that Davis is working out Diligently in hopes of resuming his NBA career.

“Davis — who I hear is working steadfastly toward a second-half comeback of his own,” Stein said. “Teams will roll the dice on guys who have the resume and know-how that suggest they can make a difference.”

Davis hopes to be a late season addition for a contending team needing a veteran point guard.

Davis, a two-time NBA All-Star played 13 seasons in the NBA, for Charlotte Hornets (New Orleans Hornets), Golden State Warriors, LA Clippers, Cleveland Cavaliers and NY Knicks. Davis played a total of 835 NBA games (692 started), averaging 16.1 ppg, 7.2 apg and 3.8 rpg in 34.2 mpg.
