Former NBA star Carlos Boozer has signed a contract to play in China, for the Guangdong Southern Tigers, Real GM reported.
Boozer sat out the entire 2015-2016 season, after last time being active with the LA Lakers in 2014-2015.
A 2-time NBA All-Star, Boozer played 13 years in the NBA, for Cleveland Cavaliers, Utah Jazz, Chicago Bulls and LA Lakers. He played in total 861 regular season games (started in 775), and holds career averages of 16.2 ppg, 9.5 rpg in 31.2 mpg.
Boozer averaged double-double in points and rebounds in 5 of his 13 NBA seasons. He was also on the roster of the gold-winning US National Team in Beijing in 2008.
