Former NBA star Chris Webber got wealthier, as he has recently sold his home in Malibu, ExNBA learned from Alanna Finn, a PR Lifestyle Specialist at Redfin, a national real estate brokerage.
Webber sold his home for $3.485 million.
The house is located behind a privacy gate, in the close-in area known as Big Rock, with an architectural ocean view. A special private outdoor area is enhanced by the lap pool, spa, sunning area & BBQ area.
The living room in the house has walls of glass that disappear to create a total indoor/outdoor living space. Maple wood floors and custom wood wall details, stone counters and contemporary style and flair all enhance the house.
Webber played for Golden State Warriors, Washington Bullets (Wizards), Sacramento Kings, Philadephia 76sers and Detroit Pistons during his NBA career.
Webber, a 5-time NBA All-Star, led the NBA in rebounds per game in 1998-99 with a 13.0 rpg average. He also averaged career-high 27.1 ppg for the Kings during the 2000-01 season. Webber played a total of 831 NBA games (827 started), averaging 20.7 ppg, 9.8 rpg and 1.4 bpg in 37.1 mpg.
Since retiring in 2008, Webber has worked in broadcasting for Turner Sports. He appears as a color commentator, an occasional panelist on TNT’s Inside the NBA and a regular on NBATV.Follow @exnbadotcom
