Ex-NBA guard Rashad McCants releases 1st episode of “Booster Club” web series

rashad_mccantsEx-NBA guard, Rashad McCants has released the first episode of his “Booster Club” web series, Carlton Jordan website reported.

Created, produced and directed by Rich King Ent. Group’s Dwayne Barnes and Malaku McCray, “The Booster Club” is a comedy series that will take viewers into the lives of a ring of professional booster “thieves” dedicated to the advancement of those addicted to the high of stealing.

“The Wire” meets “Weeds” is the best way to describe it.

It stars ex-porn star Traci Lords, ex-NBA player Rashad McCants, Meagan Good’s sister Lamyia Good, Virginia Watson, Rick, Amy Bell (wife of Bell Biv Devoe’s Ricky Bell), Nathaniel Lamar, Cru Ennis, and Latonya Holmes.

McCants was the 1st round (14th pick, 14th overall) by Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2005 NBA draft.

McCants played three and a half seasons for Minnesota, and partially for Sacramento Kings.

He had his best season with the Timberwolves in 2007-2008, when he averaged 14.9 ppg in 26.9 minutes of action.

McCants holds career averages of 10.0 ppg and 2 rpg in 20.2 minutes of playing time. He played a total of 249 NBA games, of which he started 39.
