Former Duke star and ex-NBA player Chris Duhon has recently been arrested for DUI. This is not the first time Duhon gets caught, Sun Times reported.
Police in West Virginia found former Bulls draft pick and longtime NBA player Chris Duhon passed out in his own car.
According to TMZ, police found Duhon passed out in his Ford Escape with the keys in the ignition. After failing two field sobriety tests, Duhon was eventually given a breathalyzer test.
Duhon’s BAC (blood alcohol testing) was more than two and a half times the legal limit of .08. Following his arrest, Duhon was suspended for “violation of department rules and policies, according to The Herald-Dispatch.
The police said Duhon’s eyes were red and his speech was slurred when he was waken up. Duhon was taken to the Putnam County Court House after failing three field sobriety tests.
Duhon played 9 seasons in the NBA, for Chicago Bulls, NY Knicks, Orlando Magic and LA Lakers. He played a total of 606 NBA games (started in 319).
Duhon averaged career-best 11.1 ppg and 7.2 apg during the 2008-09 season. He holds career averages of 6.5 ppg and 4.4 apg in 25.6 mpg.
