bostjan-nachbarEx-NBA forward, Bostjan Nachbar has been overshadowed by Nihad Djedovic in one of Euroleague’s games, according to a German “Braunschweiger” newspaper.

Nachbar, while in the NBA, had some productive seasons, especially with the New Jersey Nets, where he averaged 9.2 ppg and 9.8 ppg for two consecutive seasons (2006-2007, 2007-2008 seasons).

In total, Nachbar spent 6 years in the NBA, playing for Houston Rockets, New Orleans Hornets, Oklahoma City, and New Jersey.

He appeared in 317 NBA games (25 started), averaging 7.1 ppg and 2.6 rpg in 17.8 minutes of playing time.

However, Bosnian player Nihad Djedovic who has not played in the NBA, yet reportedly was considered, managed to outplay Nachbar, and his Bamberg team.

Djedovic, who is a member of Alba Berlin of the German Basketball League, and also a member of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national basketball team, scored 20 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, and stole the ball 4 times in the first game of the Germany’s Top 16.

Nachbar, according to the post-game report, could hardly make any shots. Ex-NBA player even made an angry comment towards Djedovic, who responded with a mischievous grin.
