Former All-Star Sleepy Floyd Joins Comfort Revolution

sleepy-floydEric “Sleepy” Floyd has recently joined the the Comfort Revolution. The NBA legend has become a brand ambassador for Comfort Revolution, a leading developer and marketer of high-end sleep products.

Floyd will represent the brand in key promotions and build awareness of the importance of a good night’s sleep among professional athletes, youth groups, companies, and other organizations.

Comfort Revolution is developing Floyd’s marketing and promotional schedule for 2013.

Floyd was a star player at Georgetown University before joining the NBA. He played for 13 years as a point guard for the New Jersey Nets, Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, and San Antonio Spurs.

Floyd played in 957 NBA games (584 started), averaging 12.8 ppg, 5.4 apg per 27.6 mpg.

He averaged double-figures in scoring in 9 consecutive seasons. In 1984-85, Floyd averaged 19.5 ppg for the Golden State Warriors.

In 1986-1987 Floyd averaged double-double for the Warriors with 18.8 ppg and 10.1 apg, and was named to the NBA All-Star team that year.

Floyd holds NBA records for the most points scored during both a quarter and a half in a playoff game.

He acquired his nickname when he was 8 years old during a baseball game, when the first pitch rolled right between his legs at second base.
