Former NBA All-Star, drunk Steve Francis arrested in club – VIDEO

steve-francisThis is really sad. A once great high-flying guard of the Houston Rockets, All-Star Steve Francis has vanished from the league, and there basically hasn’t been anything positive said about him since then.

A video has surfaced on the web, with Francis, which again, is far from being positive (first reported by http://theybf.com)

Published on Youtube on August 6, it is the 5th web episode of “Queens of the Club”. As the video suggests, there is a club party going on, and Steve Francis is among those present at it.

And at 26:23 mark, there’s appears to be a drunken altercation, which involves Steve Francis – and yes, it is Steve, which looks anything but like a former NBA player.

We seem him getting into a rather rough talk with a police officer, who then cuffs Francis, and he’s taken out of the area. Quite a sad thing.

Check it out below:

On behalf of Ex NBA, we really hope Francis can recover from all this, and try to get back into the NBA, either as an assistant coach or a trainer. It really is sad so see such a great player go down like this.

Francis played in 576 NBA games (543 started), averaging 18.1 ppg, 5.6 rpg and 6.0 apg in 37.6 minutes of action.

Francis was also elected to the NBA All-Star team three times, in 2002, 2003, and 2004.

After his NBA career was over, Francis played for the Beijing Ducks of the Chinese Basketball Association.

In November 2010, Francis signed with the Beijing Ducks, and averaged 0.5 points and 0.7 rebounds over four games, playing 14 minutes, before leaving the team in late December of that same year to return to the United States.
