Frustrated Tracy McGrady throws down Chinese player with malicious elbow – VIDEO

Tracy McGrady is having a hard time in China. Unable to secure a contract with an NBA team, McGrady headed over to China for this season, where his popularity was through the roof due to his teaming with Yao Ming on the Houston Rockets for all those years.

McGrady spent 15 years in the NBA, winning NBA’s scoring titles in 2002-2003 and 2003-2004 seasons, averaging 32.1 ppg and 28.o ppg respectively.

In his NBA career, McGrady appeared in 938 games (703 started), averaging 19.6 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 4.4 apg and 0.9 bpg.

Previously, McGrady made it clear, that he’s not going to come back to the NBA.

“I am not going back to the NBA, I retired from the NBA. CBA is it. “It’s a great opportunity for me and for my family as well. They haven’t been over here, so it gives them a chance to see another part of the world. It has a very different culture,” McGrady said at the time.

However, McGrady’s popularity has taken a hit since he’s actually been playing basketball in the far East.

McGrady’s Qingdao Eagles are 0-8 on the season so far, and fans have even begun throwing things at the former NBA star for his efforts. So McGrady’s stress level is probably rising.

That’s why it probably wasn’t a good idea for Ji Zhe to wave his finger in McGrady’s face after hitting a three-pointer over the American.

McGrady took retribution into his own hands, throwing a hard elbow Zhe’s way after dropping back on defense.
