House of ex-NBA player in Los Angeles robbed

earl-watsonA mansion in Los Angeles owned by former NBA guard Earl Watson was robbed by at least four masked men, TMZ reported.

The men reportedly broke into the house, handcuffed the people inside and ransacked the place.

The report said Watson owns the $4-million home, but currently rents it out to a local elderly couple.

The officials said men broke in through a back door and once inside, they handcuffed the couple and stole various items, including cash money.

Watson played 13 years in the NBA, for Seattle Supersonics, Memphis Grizzlies, Denver Nuggets, OKC Thunder, Indiana Pacers, Utah Jazz and Portland TrailBlazers.

Watson averaged career-high 10.7 ppg and 6.8 apg in 2007-08 for Seattle. He played in a total of 878 NBA games (started in 227), averaging 6.4 ppg, 4.4 apg in 22.2 mpg.
