Jordan expecting twins, while shoppers go crazy over new “Air Jordans”

jordan-prietoPrevious news indicated that retired NBA legend Michael Jordan and his wife Yvette Prieto are expecting their  first baby.

Now, TMZ reports citing own sources that Jordans are actually expecting “identical twin girls”.

Jordan and Prieto tied the knot seven months ago in an over-the-top wedding in Palm Beach, Fla., on April 27. The wedding was attended by Robin Thicke, Usher, Tiger Woods, Patrick Ewing, Scottie Pippen, and Spike Lee.

Jordan, 50, has three children from a previous marriage: Jeffrey, 24, Marcus, 22, and Jasmine, 19. Preito and Jordan met in 2008, and have been living together since 2009.

Jordan was previously married to Juanita Vanoy. The couple were married for 17 years before splitting in 2006.

While Jordan and Prieto are expecting their first child (or children for that matter), Michael’s fame doesn’t seem to fall at all.

USA Today reported that shoppers go crazy over the recently released “Air Jordan” shoes (Taxi 12s), and while the design of the shoes is rather plain, people were still in a frenzy to get it.

In particular, in Columbus (Ohia), stampeding shoppers literally broke down a door to get to a Champs Sports that was selling the new kicks.

The most ridiculous part about the whole thing is that the shoes weren’t even in shock. According to WNBS, the Champs Sports at Eastland Mall was handing out vouchers that would allow shoppers to buy the $170 shoes next week.

Majority owner and head of basketball operations for the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats, Jordan played in total 1072 NBA games (1039 started), averaging 30.1 ppg, 6.2 rpg in 38.3 minutes per contest.

He was a 14-time NBA All-Star, and 6-times the NBA champion with the Chicago Bulls.
