Kareem Abdul-Jabbar selling Hawaii house for nearly $6 million


jabbar-2Retired NBA player, legendary Kareem Abdul-Jabbar seem to be selling his home in Hawaii. The great Lakers center has decided to put his property on the market.

The price for the property stands at $5.9 million, according to SothebysRealty.com.

Abdul-Jabbar’s property includes a three-bedroom main house, a carriage house and a pool area. There is a 50-foot pool, an outdoor shower and a bar in the pool pavilion.

The house also has open and closed decks, porches, but no basketball court. There is a tennis court, however, and a fruit orchard.

The property also includes a private trail that leads you to the beach and its waterfall.

Abdul-Jabbar was  a record 19-time NBA All-Star, a 15-time All-NBA selection, and an 11-time NBA All-Defensive Team member.

In 1996, he was honored as one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History. Abdul-Jabbar played 1560 games in the NBA, averaging 24.6 ppg, 11.2 rpg in 36.8 mpg.
