Muggsy Bogues warns 2K Sports who make NBA 2K15 about his picture in game

Muggsy Bogues has a beef to pick with the folks at 2K Sports. He wants them to get his photo right for the NBA 2K15 edition, because they certainly didn’t do so last year, Dime Magazine reported.

NBA 2K15 is not expected to be released until October, but Bogues wants to make sure the developers of the game are very aware of not making the same mistake again.

He tweeted out a photo of what he looked like in last year’s game:

“Hey @NBA2K, I hope you guys get it right this time around! I’m always available for a picture!,” Bogues tweeted.

Yes, that is most definitely not Bogues (but Travis Leslie). In 2K’s defense, they definitely got the height correct.

Any video game developer should be mindful of making such a simple mistake as getting a profile picture wrong. With social media today, you’re always one mishap from becoming the latest meme.

One of the smallest players ever to play in the NBA, Bogues is mostly remembered for the years he spent with the Charlotte Hornets. He averaged a double double during the 1993-94 NBA season with 10.8 ppg and 10.1 apg. The next season he was averaging career high 11.1 ppg.

Bogues appeared in total 889 NBA games (556 started), averaging 7.7 ppg, 7.6 apg and 2.6 rpg in 28.6 minutes on the court.
