Rodman talks “greatest team of all time” after Cavs win NBA title

rodman-bullsAfter the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Golden State Warriors (4-3) to capture the NBA title, former NBA star, Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman took to Facebook to share his thoughts with the fans.

“Congrats @cavs for winning @NBA title,” said Rodman’s message. “Golden State Warriors u had a great regular season.”

“But the greatest team of all time is the 95-96 Chicago Bulls,” Rodman followed.

The 1995-96 Chicago Bulls team went 72-10 in the regular season, along with winning the NBA title that year. Golden State Warriors made history by beating the Bulls’ record, going 73-9, but lost to the Cavaliers in the NBA finals.

Rodman was part of the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls team, and also helped the team win two consecutive NBA titles in 1997 and 1998. Previously, Rodman won two more NBA titles with the Detroit Pistons in 1989, 1990.

Rodman played for Detroit Pistons, San Antonio Spurs, Chicago Bulls, LA Lakers and Dallas Mavericks. He was a two-time All-Star, and playing in 911 career NBA games, averaged 7.3 points and 13.1 rebounds per game. In 2011 Rodman got inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame.
