Scot Pollard is no longer a Survivor

scot-pollard-survivorFormer NBA player Scot Pollard is no longer a Survivor, as he was voted off the 32nd season of CBS’s Survivor after 27 days in Koh Rong, Cambodia, SportsIllustrated reported.

The “Survivor: Brains vs. Brawn vs. Beauty” season pit contestants against each other based on their intelligence, athleticism and attractiveness. Pollard started off on the Brawn tribe before merging with other members.

Pollard had the third-longest run by a professional athlete on Survivor.

Pollard, drafted by the Detroit Pistons, went on to play 11 seasons in the NBA, for the Pistons, Sacramento Kings, Indiana Pacers, Cleveland Cavs and Boston Celtics.

A strong defender and rebounder, Pollard’s career highight was in Sacramento, where he established himself as a solid back-up for Vlade Divac and Chris Webber.

Pollard played in 506 NBA games (started 99), averaging 4.4 ppg, 4.6 rpg in 16.5 mpg.
