Cavs’ LeBron James continues to set records. Just recently he reached and surpassed retired NBA star Allen Iverson on the league’s all-time scoring list.
Now, James has reached another milestone. This time, it’s about the legendary Bull, Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen.
James officially passed Pippen for the most career assists by an NBA forward on Feb. 25, in a win against the Detroit Pistons.
James now has over 6,000 assists, passing Pippen, and leads the list. James himself said that reaching this particular milestone means more to him than passing Allen Iverson on the all-time scoring list.
“It means way more than what I did passing Allen Iverson on Sunday,” James said, ESPN reported.
“I’ve always took a lot of pride and I get more of a rush seeing my teammates succeed more than myself. And that’s what an assist is all about. I was taught the game the right way and seeing my teammates succeed has always been something that I’ve cared about more than anything and that’s what it’s all about.”
This is James’ 12th season in the NBA and the fact that he has reached the career assists record by a forward is ridiculously impressive.Follow @exnbadotcom
