LeBron is a mixture of several NBA greats, Shaq O’Neal says

lebron-shaq-clevelandNBA great Shaquille O’Neal has his own opinion on LeBron James, who is already ranked among the top NBA players of all time.

O’Neal believes LeBron is a combination of several NBA legends, all mixed into one.

“He’s a mixture of Michael, Shaq, and Magic,” O’Neal told cleveland.com’s Joe Vardon. “Shaq, because he’s bigger and stronger than everybody. Michael because he can score whenever he feels like it. And Magic because he does a great job getting everybody else involved.”

“He’s been like that his whole career. Even in high school. I knew he was a special guy in high school,” said O’Neal.

“I’ve only met two people like him,” O’Neal continued. “Him and Kobe. Guys that were super determined ever since high school and accomplished all their dreams, and just wanted to be realized and recognized as one of the greatest and both had extraordinary careers.”

A dominant force in the NBA, Shaquille O’Neal was selected to 15 all-star Games, won four NBA titles (three with Los Angeles Lakers, one with Miami Heat).

He is considered to be among the best centers ever to play in the NBA. O’Neal played in 1207 NBA games (1197 started), averaging 23.7 ppg, 10.9 rpg, 2.3 bpg in 34.7 minutes of action.
