Rasheed Wallace is out of the NBA, and it is unlikely that he will launch another comeback. One of the reasons is quite simple – he’s not in shape. This was confirmed by none other than Kevin Garnett.
According to Andrew Keh from New York Times, Garnett had this to say about Wallace:
“I talked to Sheed the other day,” Kevin Garnett said. “He was at home, on the couch, being fat.”
That pretty much sums it up for Rasheed Wallace, who was just recently fired from the Detroit Pistons’ coaching staff.
Wallace, a former NBA All-Star, joined the Pistons’ staff last year. for a 2-year contract. As player, Wallace helped the Pistons to win the NBA Championship in 2004.
Wallace retired at the end of last season with the New York Knicks after a 17-year playing career that also included stints with Washington, Portland, Atlanta, Detroit and Boston.
He holds career averages of 14.4 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.3 blocks and 1 steal during a 14-year career with the Bullets, Blazers, Hawks, Pistons, Celtics and Knicks. He played in total of 1109 NBA games (started 956).Follow @exnbadotcom
