Who’d have thought: Terrell Brandon runs a barbershop…

terrell-brandon-1Seriously, who’d have thought that former NBA player Terrell Brandon would be running a barbershop, after he’d be done playing in the NBA?

He does. Brandon now runs the Terrell Brandon Barber Shop on Portland’s Northeast Alberta Street, which is frequented by numerous NBA players.

He is also a real estate developer and serves as CEO for Tee Bee Enterprises and Tee Bee Enterprise Music.

Some time ago, Brandon spoke about his career after the NBA, mentioning, of course, his barbershop.

“”First of all, I’m not your typical barbershop owner,” Brandon told CSNNW. “There are not many barbershop owners who have done the things I’ve done such as playing in the NBA and having an understanding and relationships with owners and general managers.”

“Yes I am a barbershop owner. Yes I am a dog groomer owner. Yes I am a concert promoter. Yes I am a limo driver. I do all those things myself…,” Brandon said at the time.

Seems like Brandon is just as busy off the court as he was on the court, scoring points, and dishing out assists.

Brandon played 11 years in the NBA, for Cleveland Cavaliers and Minnesota Timberwolves.

He played in two NBA All-Star games, in 1996 and 1997.

Brandon Averaged double figures in scoring in all but 3 of his seasons in the NBA. Throughout his career, Brandon was known for his passing ability, and great free-throw shooting.

He averaged career high in points (19.5 ppg) during the 96-97 season, and career high in assists (8.9 apg) in 99-00.

He holds career averages of 13.8 ppg, 6.1 apg and 3.0 rpg in 29.8 minutes per game. He appeared in 724 NBA games, starting in 480.
