Dirk Nowitzki hits another milestone, passes Kevin Garnett on all-time scoring list

garnett-nowitzkiDallas Mavericks’ Dirk Nowitzki hit another milestone, passing Brooklyn’s Kevin Garnett on the NBA’s scoring list, NBA official website reported.

Since Garnett is still active, for now, Nowitzki holds the 14th spot.

The Dallas Mavericks star made two free throws against Denver on Monday night to take over 14th place on the all-time list.

Garnett, who didn’t play Monday night, has career 25,352 points.

Kobe Bryant is the only active player ahead of Nowitzki at the moment, with 31,617 points (4th all-time).

Nowitzki, an 11-time All-Star and the 2007 MVP, has passed Jerry West, Reggie Miller and Garnett since Nov. 12.

The free throws that pushed Nowitzki ahead of Garnett also put him at 35 straight makes from the line.
