Ex-NBA players at Legends World Sports Conference – PHOTOS

nbrpa-legends-world-sports-conference52The National Basketball Retired Players Association (NBRPA), the only Association comprised of NBA, ABA, Harlem Globetrotters and WNBA alumni, hosted its annual Legends World Sports Conference in South Florida at Club Med’s Sandpiper Bay Resort in Port St. Lucie, Sept. 20-22.

The conference was attended by more than 250 people, including former NBA players Otis Birdsong, Moses Malone, Jerome Moiso, Johnny Newman, Thurl Bailey, Elgin Baylor and others.

Former professional basketball players and their guests attended and participated in a productive conference week that also included a wide range of community service conducted by NBRPA Members.

Conference workshop sessions featuring industry experts covering a variety of relevant topics were also a key highlight of the weekend. NBRPA Members had free access to many experts in fields including Jobs in Sports, Finance, Career Transition, Continuing Education, Professional Speaking & Broadcasting, Social Media, Health & Wellness, Networking, Franchise Opportunities and more.
