The camp will be open to 30-65 year olds of all skill levels, and will be hosted at the Philips Arena, where the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks play their home games.
Dominique Wilkins played 15 years in the NBA, earned his spot on the All-Star team 9 times. He holds career averages of 24.8 ppg, 6.7 rpg and 35.5 mpg in 1074 (started 995) NBA games.
He scored 26,668 points in his career, playing for Atlanta Hawks, Los Angeles Clippers, Boston Celtics, San Antonio Spurs and Orlando Magic.
His #21 jersey was retired by the Hawks on January 13, 2001 and he entered the NBA Hall of Fame in 2006.
Along with Wilkins, other NBA legends, such as Dikembe Mutombo, James Worthy, Anthony “Spud” Webb, Charles Oakley, Kevin Willis and Moses Malone are set to attend the fantasy camp in Atlanta.
The camp offers a chance to live in the luxury life of an NBA legend.
Besides that, health and wellness will have a major place in the camps itinerary and make up. As a result of Dominique Wilkins’ Type 2 diabetes diagnosis 14 years ago, it has been a mission of his to preach not only health and wellness changes, but lifestyle changes as well.
Thus the camp will also tell how NBA players eat, exercise, sleep, rest, manage stress, and most importantly – play.Follow @exnbadotcom
