1994 NBA finals: top 10 plays of Hakeem Olajuwon


In 1994 Hakeem Olajuwon was at his peak and led his Houston Rockets all the way to the NBA finals, where the team had to face the New York Knicks, and Olajuwon had to face Patrick Ewing.

The Rockets defeated the Knicks in 7 games, winning their first NBA championship, as Olajuwon emerged as the MVP of the finals, averaging 26.9 ppg, 9.1 rpg, 3.9 bpg, 3.6 apg in 43.1 mpg.

Olajuwon is considered one of the greatest centers ever to play the game. Some say, he was the best. He played in 1238 NBA games (1186 started), averaging 21.8 ppg, 11.1 rpg, 2.5 apg and 3.1 bpg in 35.7 minutes of action.
