Former NBA player used long arms to save dolphin – VIDEO

A Sacramento King’s assistant coach and former NBA player Clifford Ray has recalled the oddest phone call he’s ever received, a request to help save a struggling dolphin.

Ray admitted though that if it was a shark instead of dolphin, he would have hesitated to do the same.

Ray played for Chicago Bulls and Golden State Warriors during his NBA career, averaging 7.4 ppg, 8.9 rpg and 1 bpg in 25.4 minutes of playing time.

In the video below, Ray – who appeared in 784 NBA games – tells his story of saving a dolphin.
