Kim Jong-un and Rodman dominate North Korean “NBA Jam” – VIDEO

kim-rodman-nba-videogameNBA Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman recently wrapped up a bizarre junket to North Korea, where he and recently-installed dictator Kim Jong-un apparently hit it off quite well.

As expected, Rodman’s trip – undertaken with sponsoring Vice media company for part of an upcoming HBO series – included plenty of through-the-looking-glass moments.

First there was the time he offended “the Gangnam Style dude” on Twitter.

Then there was his surreal post-trip ABC interview, made all the stranger by North Korea’s historically antagonistic relationship with the United States.

But it took until this week for footage of North Korea’s version of legendary video game NBA Jam to emerge (the video below however suggests it was not NBA JAM, but NBA HANGTIME).

At least, that’s the premise of this terrific mashup made by the YouTube channel OfficialComedy. Rodman and Kim form a formidable “North Korea All Stars” team and take on the “Pathetic Americans” squad (featuring former NBA players Mark Jackson and Sarunas Marciulionis).

Not surprisingly, the weird duo kick some major red-white-and-blue heinie.

Even less surprisingly, it’s Kim who’s the star, scoring 252 points and 52 dunks in the first half alone while no one else can manage a single relevant stat.

OfficialComedy made a quite funny video ,except for the fact that Sarunas Marciulionis doesn’t really fit into the “Pathetic Americans” squad. He’s from Lithuania.
