90’s All-Star games were a joy to watch. At the warm-up before the 1996 All-Star game in San Antonio, Orlando’s center Shaquille O’Neal and Chicago’s Michael Jordan decided to play one on one.
Not for real of course, but nonetheless, it was fun to watch. Specifically – O’Neal’s last “Dream-like” move on Jordan, who even got surprised by the big man’s footwork.
O’Neal went on to hit 10 of 16 shots from the field for 25 points, while Jordan settled for 20 points, as the Eastern All-Stars defeated the Western All-Stars 129:118.
In total, Jordan played in 14 NBA All-Star games (as member of the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards), while O’Neal appeared in 15 All-Star games.
