Shawn Kemp in 1996 NBA All-Star game – PHOTOS

In his prime, Shawn Kemp wasn’t afraid “to say it as it is”, and dunk on anyone he could. Aside from that Kemp could shoot, dribble, run the floor and basically do everything else.

He was part of “Dream Team 2” (1994 USA Olympic team), he participated in a dunk contest, and he helped the Seattle Supersonics to reach the NBA finals in 1996.

Kemp also was selected to 6 NBA All-Star teams. He spent 14 seasons in the NBA, playing for Seattle, Cleveland, Portland and Orlando. He holds career averages of 14.6 ppg, 8.4 rpg and 1.2 bpg in 1051 NBA games (727 started).

Here below is a collection of Kemp’s photos during his participation in the 1996 NBA All Star game in San Antonio, where Kemp wears the original Navy/White Kamikaze II sneakers (credit: SoleCollector)
