greatest-lakers-of-all-timeThe LA Lakers team has always had the superstars, starting way back from George Mikan’s days, following to the 70’s with Wilt Chamberlain and Jerry West, then into the 80’s with Magic Johnson’s “Showtime Lakers” and later to the 2000’s with Shaq and Kobe.

So, who is considered the “Greatest Laker of all time”? Ex-NBA readers voted, and the results are here.

According to the Ex-NBA poll, Kobe Bryant with 33% of all votes was chosen as the greatest LA Laker of all time.

Arguably one of the best shooting guards in the history of the NBA, Kobe Bryant holds career averages of 25 ppg, 5.2 rpg and 4.7 apg in 36.1 mpg. Bryant was a 18-time All-star and won the NBA title 5 times with the LA Lakers, where he played his entire 20-season career.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is at 3rd spot with 21% of all votes.

Also “None of them, other” option was picked by 3% of the voters, while Elgin Baylor is at 6th spot with 1%, followed by James Worthy at 8th spot.
