reggie-miller-indianaAnother one of ExNBA’s polls is complete, and it is time to write down the results.

The question of this poll was “Which of these players you would pick to make the decisive shot?”

No surprise, Reggie Miller tops the rest of the bunch, gaining 70 percent of all votes. Miller has never won an NBA championship, but he was named to the “ALL-NBA” team 3 times, and participated in 5 NBA All-Star games. He appeared in 1389 NBA games (1304 started), averaging 18.2 ppg, 3 apg and 3 rpg in 34.3 minutes of action. Miller made 2560 threes in his season career, making up for 39 percent of shooting.

Second comes Steve Kerr, with 10 percent. Kerr holds career average of shooting 45 percent from 3-point range (season), having made 726 threes in his career.

Chris Mullin (38 percent career 3-point shooter, made 815 threes) and Glen Rice (40 percent career 3-point shooter, made 1559 threes) both scored 5 percent of all total votes.

Mark Price (career 40 percent three point shooter, made 976 threes) settled for 4 percent of total votes.

Only three percent of all gave their votes to Jeff Hornacek (40 percent career 3-point shooter, made 828 career threes) and Mitch Richmond (career 39 percent 3-point shooter, made 1326 career threes).
