LeBron James has little left to prove as he has already achieved almost everything in the NBA.He is considered to be among the best ever, he’s been an All-Star numerous times and won two NBA championships with the Miami Heat (2012,2013).
And yet, one thing James has not yet been able to achieve – is to surpass the “greatest ever”, Michael Jordan himself. Jordan won 6 NBA titles with the Chicago Bulls in the 1990’s.
A poll on EXNBA.com has revealed the results on whether James could become better than Michael Jordan, as the times goes by.
Answering the question “What would James need to do to become better than Michael Jordan”, 54 percent of all voters chose “No chance, LeBron will never be better than Jordan”.
26 percent of all voters believed James has to win at least a total of 6 NBA titles. 7% believe James needs to become a better all-around player to get closer to Jordan.
6% believe James needs to win at least 3 more straight NBA titles (Jordan had two three-peats in the 1990’s). 4% said James needs to become the NBA’s all-time leading scorer to be regarded better than Jordan. The answer “win more individual awards” had the least of votes with just 3%.
